Jeffrey Bede

Jeffrey Bede is a Principal at ORIX Venture Finance, where he is helping to expand the company’s Southeast and European operations. He joined the firm in August 2007.

Mr. Bede has fourteen years of banking experience, primarily in the technology, consumer, healthcare and business services sectors. He has spent much of his career raising private equity for growth and middle-market companies.

Before joining ORIX, Mr. Bede was a managing director at Chessiecap Securities, a boutique investment bank, where he headed its private placement and valuation practices. Earlier, he was a co-founder and principal at Capital Run LLC, a Seattle-based boutique investment bank that specialized in providing private equity, debt, and M&A advisory services to IT and consumer companies. He also worked at Prudential Securities, Volpe Brown Whelan & Company, Dain Rauscher Wessels and Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette.

Mr. Bede holds bachelors and masters degrees from Stanford University, and he earned an MBA with honors from the University of Chicago.
